Took me ten years and a war to get a college degree. Always wanted to be a writer. Now it's on. My three-volume initial project is a retrospective study of the trauma's I have endured and ongoing recovery from them. Keeping it simple. I'm a miracle. Despite being imprinted by the stressors of serving as a combat infantryman during the Vietnam War, Alcoholism, Childhood abuses, and various other endangerments have imprinted me with a severe case of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD). You can get feeling better. I'm proof. Because I was a "Long Gone Daddy in the USA" and now I'm grateful for every breath.
